• Our EasyFind™ service, allowing remote access without having to worry about changing IP numbers. Just choose a name, and access your Bubba server from anywhere in the world at <choose name>.bubbaserver.com.

Download central

Bubba can download your large files, without having your computer turned on all the time. It can also be convenient to start downloads from work or school, to find the downloads finished when you get home at night.

Email services and calendar

• Fetch email from other servers, and use Bubba as a central storage point for all your email
• Make Bubba receive and handle email for your own domain

Small and silent

Bubba measures only 11.5 x 4.5 x 18.5 cm (4.5 x 1.8 x 7 inches), that is as small as a paperback. The matte black finish design blends in easily in any environment. 

It is also without fans, making it probably the most silent NAS server available. The SSD version really is completely silent (0.0 dB), while the rotating disk versions are about 20-22 dB, about the sound of a whisper. This since we always assemble the most silent disks available.

The fanless design has been made possible using cutting edge thermal material, transporting hard drive's heat to the solid aluminum casing. 

Bubba and the Environment

Bubba Two with 1 TB disk uses about 7W of power. This can be compared to a bedside lamp, using something like 25W, or a personal computer, using about 80W with the monitor turned off. Hence; changing your PC server to a Bubba 2 actually saves you in the range of 100 EUR every year on the electricity bill alone. Translated to CO₂ emissions, this is more than 300 kg CO₂ saved every year. 

Excito tries to consider the environment in every aspect, from designing electronics with as low power footprint as possible, to packing for freight - we use corn-based shock absorber. Future recycling of Excito products is easy, all materials can easily be disassembled and recycled.

In 2004, we began developing the first version of Bubba Server, that was a worlds-first in several areas. Bubba Server received brilliant reviews in the world press, and the rest is history.
